Finished 12-8 in singles while playing in the No. 3 and 4 slot and 12-9 between No. 2 and No. 3 doubles… Went 7-2 in singles from March 16 – April 12… Started off 8-2 in doubles…At the ITA classic went 1-1 in doubles with partner Gracie Mulville, picking up the win against Notre Dame…secured doubles win against Old Dominion… Went 1-1 in singles securing the win against Arizona.

Fall 2023:
Wrapped up fall play with a 2-1 singles and 1-1 doubles record at the Big 12 Invite…Went 3-1 and made it to quarterfinals in doubles of the ITA Central Region Championships with partner Gracie Mulville. Started off fall season by participating in doubles at the SMU Invitational, went 1-2.

Spring 2023:
Finished her freshman season with an overall 9-8 singles record and a 12-8 doubles recorded… Played in the #1 doubles spot all season long…Won nine singles matches along with a six match win streak…Won 12 doubles with Malkia Ngounoue….Earned All-Big 12 Freshman Honors….Earned All-Big 12 Second Team Doubles

The Kansas women’s tennis team received multiple academic honors including All-Academic Team and seven individual Scholar-Athlete awards, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced on Monday.

Kansas women’s tennis was well-represented on the All-Big 12 Tennis awards, the Conference announced on Friday, as senior Malkia Ngounoue earned All-Big 12 First Team in singles, Ngounoue and freshman Heike Janse Van Vuuren were named All-Big 12 Second Team in doubles and Van Vuuren was named All-Freshman Team.
