Jayhawks’ Home Opener Rescheduled for March 12

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Due to the winter storm that swept the Midwest this past weekend, Kansas baseball’s game against Creighton Tuesday, March 4, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 12, at 3 p.m.

The Jayhawks were supposed to open their home slate Feb. 28, against Houston Baptist, however, that series was moved to Texas due to inclement weather. With next Wednesday’s (March 12) contest being the home opener, KU will have played its first 15 games away from home after traveling to Stanford this weekend for a three-game set.

Season-ticket holders and fans that have purchased single-game tickets for Tuesday’s contest may use those tickets for the rescheduled date, March 12.
