Summer 2009: Invited to try out for the U.S. National Team (Collegiate) … Played for the Rochester Honkers of the Northwoods League … Batted .293 with eight doubles, a homer and 14 RBIs in 20 games.

2009 (Sophomore): Recorded the first Triple Crown in Big 12 history, leading the league in batting average (.389), home runs (21) and RBIs (82) … Named Second Team All-America by Ping!
