2003 (Sophomore): Underwent surgery to repair a ligament in his throwing arm which forced him to miss the entire 2003 season.

2002 (RS-Freshman):Was 0-2 with an 8.14 ERA in 13 appearances… Made starts against Nebraska-Omaha and SMS… Allowed 33 base hits and struck out 12 in 24.1 innings of work… Tossed a pair of perfect innings in KU[apos]s 17-3 win over Centenary (2/16).

2001 (Freshman):Redshirted.

High School:A 2000 graduate of Ft. Zumwalt South High School… Lettered in baseball, football and basketball… Was an honorable mention all-metro selection in baseball and football… Coached by Tony Primeau.

Personal:Born December 13, 1981… Parents are Ken Bothof and Debra Browning… A communications major with an emphasis in business… Father, Ken, played baseball at Buena Vista College.
