2007 (Sophomore): Selected All-Big 12 Honorable Mention as well as Academic All-Big 12 … His 32 appearances were the sixth-most in a single season by a Jayhawk pitcher … His 1.60 ERA was tied for sixth-best in a single-season in Kansas history (minimum 25 innings pitched)… Had the fifth-most single-season saves in Kansas history with seven … Tied a career high with four strikeouts against Missouri (3/30) … Did not allow an earned run until his 10th appearance (10.2 innings) … Picked up his first win of the season by allowing only one run in 4.2 innings of relief against Texas A&M (3/17).
Summer 2006: Made 15 relief appearances for the Duluth Huskies of the Northwoods League … Went 1-1 with a 2.15 ERA in 29.2 innings … Struck out 26 while walking 11 and allowing a .192 batting average … Teammate of current Jayhawks Brock Simpson and Andy Marks.
