Free State HS: Lettered four times for head coach Mike Hill, Jr. … Helped team to 2006 class 6A State Championship and second place state finish in 2004 … Led team to four straight Sunflower League Championships … 2006 Kansas High School Player of the Year … A 2005 and 2006 first team All-State selection … 2006 Kansas City All-Metro … Four-time first team All-Sunflower Conference … During the summer, played for the Firestone Rangers, who won the USABF 18 and under World Series in 2003.
