Summer 2010: Played for the Duluth Huskies of the Northwoods League … Batted .344 with six doubles, 32 runs scored and six stolen bases … Reached base at a .444 clip … Selected to the Northwoods League All-Star team … Also played with a USA International exhibition team in the Netherlands.
2010 (Junior): Named to Academic All-Big 12 First Team … Also selected as KU[s Forrest Hoglund Student-Athlete Award winner, and Mike Hill Hustle Award winner … Named Big 12 Player of the Week (March 15) … Played in 57 games, making 54 starts in the outfield … Hit .278 with nine doubles, two triples, two homers and 47 runs scored … Led team with 14 stolen bases in 17 attempts … Fifth on the team with 15 multi-hit games and nine multi-RBI contests … Collected three hits with a double against Iowa (March 5) … Went 7-for-12 with six runs scored and four doubles in the three-game series at LSU (March 14) … Recorded three hits, including his first homer of the season at Saint Louis (March 20) … Went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases and three runs scored against Texas Tech (April 23) … Went 3-for-5 with a pair of RBIs, including a walk-off double in the series finale against Missouri (May 9) … Collected one hit in each of the three Big 12 Championship games (May 26-29).

American Defenders of the New England Collegiate Baseball League … Batted .386 with six doubles, two triples, 16 RBIs and 20 runs scored … Reached base at a .455 clip … Selected to the NECBL All-Star team, was First Team All-League and NECBL Batting Champion.
2009 (Sophomore): Played 51 games, making 44 starts in the outfield … Hit .272 with four doubles, two triples and two homers … Scored 36 runs and led the team with 11 stolen bases … Went 2-for-3 in his first start at Memphis (Feb. 20) … Collected six hits in his first eight at bats with a double and three runs scored … Recorded two hits in three at bats with three RBIs against No. 4 Arizona State (March 15) … Collected three hits, including a triple and two RBIs, against Western Illinois (March 24) … Drove in three runs on three singles against No. 9 Baylor (April 5) … Stole three bases against No. 17 Oklahoma State (April 11) … Scored three runs at Creighton (April 14) … Hit first collegiate home run at No. 9 Oklahoma (May 1) … Collected a career high four hits, including a home run, at Missouri (May 9) … Went 2-for-5 with two runs scored against No. 11 Kansas State (May 17).
Summer 2008: Played for the San Luis Obispo Rattlers of the California Collegiate League … Hit .303 with nine doubles, a triple and 18 RBIs.
2008 (Freshman): Named to the Athletic Director[apos]s Honor Roll … Hit .429 with a double and four runs scored in seven games … Collected first collegiate hit – a double – against North Dakota State (3/9) … Scored two runs against Chicago State (3/26) … Recorded base hits against Saint Mary (4/2) and Baker (4/15).
High School: Lettered twice in baseball for head coach Jerry Dawson at Chaparral High School … Named first team all-state, first team all-region and Team Arizona as a junior and senior … Hit .417 with 4 homeruns and 35 RBIs as a senior … Led team to Arizona 4A State championship … Team ranked fourth overall by Baseball America and 19th in USA Today … Hit .433 with a pair of homers and 29 RBIs during his junior year … Also lettered three times in football and once in basketball … A first team all-state and all-region selection as a senior in football … Named all-region in basketball as a sophomore … Played on the 18 and under Club baseball team … Named to the Super Series National and All-Tournament teams in 2006 … Led team to back-to-back U-18 national championships.
