LAWRENCE, Kan. – Due the the threat of severe weather on Saturday, May 18, Kansas officials have elected to move the start time of the baseball game to 11 a.m.

The contest will be played at Hoglund Ballpark as the second game of the annual Dillons Sunflower Showdown series. Those wishing to attend are encouraged to check back throughout the weekend for further alterations to the schedule as weather conditions continue to develop.

Sunday’s game will still serve as Senior Day, where Kansas will honor its five senior ball players starting a 1:45 p.m. That contest will also boast a Jayhawk Hat giveaway, while supplies last.

Fans attending games this weekend are encouraged to park in Lot 90 to avoid graduation traffic happening around Allen Fieldhouse.

All three games of the series will be available on the Jayhawk Television Network (ESPN+) and the Jayhawk Radio Network (KLWN).
