Freshman Maria Titova, the 52nd-ranked player in the nation, has been selected to compete in the NCAA Singles Championships May 23rd-28th in Champaign, Illinois.

Kansas track & field was represented by 41 individuals on the 2022 Academic All-Big 12 Track & Field team, the Big 12 Conference announced, highlighted by a league-high 23 individuals on the men’s teams.

Head coach Ray Bechard has announced the 2022 Kansas Volleyball schedule, which will feature 28 matches for the Jayhawks, including 15 against NCAA Tournament qualifiers from a year ago. KU will play 12 non-conference matches before playing 16 against Big 12 Conference foes.

Kansas redshirt senior outfielder Caleb Upshaw was named co-Big 12 Player of the Week and Big 12 Newcomer of the Week, the conference office announced Monday. Upshaw is the first Jayhawk this season to win a weekly award.

Kansas Athletics will host its Surplus Sale on Saturday, May 7, at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium. The sale will give fans a chance to purchase KU surplus apparel and equipment, while also providing the opportunity to purchase season tickets for the 2022-23 KU Athletics seasons.

In the series finale on Sunday afternoon at Hoglund Ballpark, the West Virginia Mountaineers pulled out a 10-8 win against the Kansas Jayhawks. Redshirt senior Caleb Upshaw hit his team-high ninth home run of the season late in the game.

Kansas Softball dropped the final game of a three-game series to No. 1 Oklahoma, 9-1, on Sunday afternoon at Arrocha Ballpark.
